We are conditioned to believe that success means a lot of money, expensive cars, luxurious yachts and membership in some exclusive club. Well, this is just one vision of success. It is fine if that is what you want. However, there is nothing wrong with you if you define success differently.

Suppose a person happens to be an excellent electrical engineer who lives in a three bedroom home, drives Toyota Camry and enjoys reading history books in his spare time. He is perfectly happy with his life. Is he an example of success? Absolutely!

What about a great teacher who enjoys his work so much that he wouldn’t even consider better paying job in a different field? He is not a millionaire and doesn’t own expensive things, but he is definitely a successful individual.

Anyone who lives the way he wants and feels at peace with himself is a picture of success. If your success story is different from society’s standards, so be it!
